Ex-Offender Re-Entry Programs

Our Goal: Provide a holistic program of assessment, development, motivation and support for released prisoners who desire to conquer their obstacles in seeking, gaining and maintaining employment and self-sufficiency.

Comprehensive Re-entry Services for Released Prisoners

We believe that community organizations - especially faith based organizations have an obligation to commit, coordinate and direct resources toward the best practices for helping released prisoners re-enter the community.

We believe that, with proper intervention and solid guidance, a majority of ex-offenders released from correctional systems can turn their lives around, find their purpose in life, and change for the better - not only for themselves but also for their families and for the community at large.

The Re-Entry Program is designed to draw the unique strengths of community faith-based organizations as partners for social service delivery to

Released prisoners by providing a direct link into the communities to which they are returning.

The Harvey Brooks Foundation was established to identify, develop, and implement an array of social services and assistance to meet the demands and needs of youth and families.

HBF functions to activities in the community by prevent substance abuse and criminal providing alternative after school activities, mentoring programs, and structured recreational activities.

Extended family services are offered which include counseling, educational advocacy, local, state, and private agency referrals

The Re-Entry Advocacy Center is a place for information and resource sharing and other assistance for released prisoners.

The Prisoner Re-Entry Advocacy Center is a one-stop within the community for ex-offenders to find strength and hope as they prepare to re-enter the community and rebuild their life.

The Advocacy Center incorporates mentoring, job training, and other comprehensive transitional services to help inmates find work when they return to their community.
